APARTMENTS H21
APARTMENTS H21
In Frankfurt's city center,
within a densely populated residential area, a previously vacant space has been
filled by the construction of a five-story building featuring two residential
units.
Simultaneously, the renovation of the existing family house at the rear of the property has been completed, and the small courtyard in between has been upgraded.
The new front building comprises five floors, including a basement and an attic. Due to the spatial limitations posed by the narrow gap between two firewalls, each floor of the new building offers just 50 square meters of space. As a result, one of the apartments has been designed as a duplex, while the other is configured as a triplex.
Both residential units include a semi-public top floor, housing the main living areas. Private spaces are located on the sleeping floors below. Access to the apartments is provided through an elevator that directly reaches the top level, with additional internal staircases for access within each unit.
